Daddy's arms

I'm just squeezing this in by the skin of my teeth, but I do tend to work well under pressure LOL. It's for the 1st September challenge at Scrap A While ... I have enjoyed their challenges this month.
A bit of a mix of bits and pieces. Bo Bunny, Sass, Tim Holtz tape...

I misted over a chipboard swirly thing. It would have to be my favourite thing to do ATM! Love the look. The cute little journalling spot I recieved in a swap :-)

It's spring!!

I decided to play along to a 'spring' themed challenge over at Scrap A While this month. I tried out a (sort of) mini scene type page, I don't do this very often, but I must say, I am happy with the end result :-)
Loving this spring weather :-) and loving that cloud paper :-) I think I need some more!! LOL

Black and white and blue

This is the colour challenge at Savvy this month...

Our little Mister is a bit more adventurous than his big sister was ... bit of a shock to the system!!! Here, he's trying ever so hard to open a cabinet. He doesn't give up in a hurry either LOL.

I had some fun with misting on this one as you can see. Cut out some stars and misted over the top. Some strips of fabric in there as well as other bits and pieces.

I really had fun with this page and it fell together quite quickly. Don't you just love it when that happens! It is for the ABC challenge at Scrapbook Savvy. G - glitter/glimmermist, GREEN, and title starting with "G"

Just love that Lil' Red Rocket button .... the little hippo has his mouth open ready to take a big bite (well that's what i thought anyway LOL).... the novel rounds are LRR too ... oh, and the pom pom trim :-)

Helping Daddy

I have used some more old photos, but this little girl has always loved helping Daddy. It's such a special treat to go to the shed and play with all the interesting things like screwdrivers, climb up the step ladders, and play in the trailer. Who needs toys at all really. LOL

A Savvy CC page

The last day for uploading Savvy CC challenges today and I have only managed to get one done. Loved the criteria for this one:

LOL at that cousins photo - do you know how difficult it was to get them all looking in the same direction at once?? Then, they actually had to stay still!! LOL .... but it was fun :-). They are all growing up sooo quick :-)

So, since I have a fab stash of 2 Crafty chippy here, I thought I would give this one a try! Love the colours together :-)

Here's a close up of the yummy chippy piece. I don't use chipboard all that much ... for some weird reason I get a bit unsure what to do with it?!?! Here, I misted it, drew the outline of the stars with white pen and layered the whole lot over ribbon and buttons. I used minimal other embellies to keep this the main focal point.
Did you see the scallops and the negative scallops?? I was inspired by this fabulous scrapper ... who uses scallops and negative scallops superbly :-) ...

Well, best keep going .... things to do and all that!!

Design Dollies challenge

I haven't played along with a Design Dollies challenge for what feels like ages. So, this week, I decided to do the elements challenge - which was birthday themed, and the colour challenge - which was red, orange, blue and green.

I combined both challenges and made this:
I stamped "happy birthday" in blue ink, and it didn't really come up well in the photo. Looks a tad better IRL, promise :-).

Going on a Road Trip ...

well, a Prima Road Trip :-). Suzanne from Handmade by Suzanne sent me the Prima Road Trip Collection to play with this month. What fun!!! Love the colours - perfect for travel themed pages and pages of little boys ... as you can see LOL.

I also recieved Sassafras chocolate glitter alphas in my DT pack .... which are as yummy as they sound!! :-). Also available from the store is the twine, the cardstock and glimmermist (can you even see it in the photo??)

Fun in a box:

Who needs toys when playing in a cardboard box is just as fun?? LOL. You might notice I used the cut out piece of pp from the LO above for the background on this page. I have used the Sass Lass alphas again and the twine and also some stitched grosgrain ribbon also available in the store.

Holiday time:

Every year at Christmas time, we head to the Bunya Mountains and spend time with our families. We love it .... spending time with family like this is so special ... and very important for us. The Prima Road Trip Collection was perfect for this photo as was this:

...the Scrapware vintage luggage chippy. Cute hey!!

Lastly, I made a card, using the September sketch by Liz Weber.

Tidbitz In Time

I had lots of plans with this Tidbitz In Time kit, but sadly, I became very unwell and didn't get to do all I had planned. Anyway, these are the last creations I managed before everything went pear shaped!

Twinkle twinkle little star:

I have used the 2nd bonus sketch at Stuck?! Sketches for this LO. I added some alphas, the kraft cardstock, another doily (oh how I love doilies LOL) and glimmermist, all else is from the kit. There were even starfish on some of the pp to cut out to suit my title :-)

And see that amazing vintage button!!! How fun does it look!!

I just loved these "Special Event" tickets and immediately thought to put them on an invitation! I splattered some pink Shimmerz for some sparkle :-)

So, that brings us to the end of my kit reveal. I'd just like to say a huge THANK YOU to Wendy for having me on the DT this month - I've had an amazing time :-) :-)

Here is the 1st September sketch at Stuck?! Sketches:

I was creating with the awesome kit from Tidbitz In Time! Just loved this music paper ...

{I used another photo by LaBelle Photographics}

I even made my own flower using my scalloped circle punch, adding some pearls and a button :-)
I added the doilies again, but everything else is from the kit. Such a fantastic range of items, I really didn't need to add much! There was even some 'bling' - the sequins ... see them scattered randomly??
