Kindy party

I have had this fabulous Scrappy Canary sketch on my list all month ... so, there's nothing like last minute to get it done, right? :D

Multi-photo sketches are often tricky for me ... I'm typically the one photo sketch type scrapper ... however, once I'd started this page, it fell together quite easily!  {love it when that happens!}

Great sketch  for birthday pics!

And I finally got to use the cupcake toppers I've been keeping since his party too!  (The robots and pinwheels) ... love using things like this on pages ...

So, that's probably the last page for the year ... I'll have to share a "favourites from 2014" post soon!!

FWAB Christmas cards :)

I know Christmas has been and gone ... did you handmade Christmas cards this year?
I love making cards, so it was fun to raid my FWAB stash and whip up some easy cards ...

See ... super duper easy, but they look great!
I've used FWAB Adhesive Pearls 100 pack in Latte and Rose Pink to make the shape of baubles ...

And a FWAB Maddison Flowers - SMALL in pink and latte for decoration ...

Added some twine and mini letters and they are done!

Hello everyone!  I'm back to share my first FWAB project for the month.  I can't believe it's December already!  This year has flown by so fast!

Here's my page:



I thought I would try a monochromatic style page.   Surprisingly, the whole thing came together quite quickly!  I guess I didn't have to spend time matching embellishments and such like ... I just knew I needed silver or grey or white :D

I've used the gorgeous FWAB Kate's Corner Flourish Silver flourish - cut up to fit on opposite ends of my cluster ...
You'll also spy a grey flower from the FWAB Elise Flourish Black - Dark Green & Silver Grey flowers set too!

And ... there's a Rainbow Splendour vellum bow there too!!

123 Challenge

So, watermelon ... I seem to be a bit low on watermelon at the moment, but I was able to find some bits and pieces ... so made this:

Aren't those little umbrellas cute?!  I kept them from Miss B's party and was hoping I could use them on a page sometime!

Scrap the Girls

Hello everyone!  I'm back again to share a page I created for the current Scrap The Girls mood board.  I just love how soft and pretty it is!

So much texture!

Here's my page:

I wanted to keep my page soft but textured at the same time.  I've used strips of washi tape for a different background and added doilies and a big soft mesh bow.

Hello FWAB fans!  I'm loving all the inspiration here on our FWAB blog!
Today, I'm sharing a layout with you:

Pie charts seem to be a bit on-trend at the moment ... so I decided to make my own! I traced around a kids plate for the circle and ruled lines for the sections. I then "painted" with my mists on wet cardstock to get the watercolour effect.

Well, it's been a while since I played along at Scrap Around The World, and then their latest mood board caught my eye ....

Instantly, I was drawn to the music paper, the doilies and the mix of pink and yellow ...

Pink and yellow is one of my most fav colour combos :)

Scrap the boys

I thought I would play along at Scrap the Boys this month ...

Here at Scrap the Boys this month we are looking for layouts showing the "Softer Side" of your boy (capture your boy doing something gentle, think cuddling Grandma, stroking pets, holding a baby)

My son loves his Mummy ... he has declared he doesn't want to grow bigger because he always wants Mummy to be able to pick him up!  (He's nearly getting too big for that now ... but not too big for hugs :) :) )

Loving pops of citrus lately - so summery!

A challenge for me to use 2 photos like that, but I do love a good challenge :) :)

Last D-lish share!

It's November which means it's the last month of my D-lish Scraps Inspiration Team term :(
It's been amazing and I have LOVED every mood board during my term!  Our last one is amazing ....

I followed the sketch too - just turned it to suit my pic.  All embellies are from the D-lish store ... except the gold sequins were from my stash ...

The washi tape is gold glitter - but I don't think it shows up well in the photo ...

Orange and Black

Hello!  Just popping in to share a page from the Scrappy Canary Cyber Crop. 

I originally set out to do a boy page (since I don't "do" Halloween at all), but I changed my mind ...

I found this butterfly chipboard and decided to do a girl page based around it!

Hmmm ... not sure it's my fav colour combo, but it was a GREAT challenge!!  :) :) :)
