Rainbow Splendour SALE ....

It's nearly time for the last sale for the year!!!  It starts on Saturday 10 December 2011 and will go all weekend until Monday morning so heaps of time to have a browse and get your orders in :-) :-)

There is no craft market this month, so I will be holding the sale here on my blog and will also put a folder up on the Rainbow Splendour facebook page.  Make sure you head over and LIKE the page, I often do random giveaways just cos I feel like it :-) :-) :-)

This will be the last chance to get the Christmas range of goodies like ...

Encounters with the farm animals

Last week, my challenge at Scrapz.Biz was a sketch -

The theme was "Encounters with the Wild" so I scrapped about the kids meeting animals on the farm.  OK, so chooks aren't exactly 'wild' but they aren't that tame either!  LOL

How perfect is that Jillibean Soup pp for the background?!  All the rest of the papers are a mix of Crate Paper Farmhouse and Random. 

 

There is still time to play along - all the November challenges are due on 30th November.  And every challenge entry goes in the draw for store vouchers at the end of the month :-) :-)

BITW - Trust

The new word at Bird Is the Word is TRUST.  There was lots of ways I could have gone with this.  In fact, I ended up leaving it till nearly last minute because I just couldn't decide!!
I decided to go the light hearted approach ... and scrap about this typical two year old impulsive belly showing  - in the middle of  trying to get a nice family photo :-) LOL.

I've used a Rainbow Splendour map pinwheel and a cabochon and sweet lollipop made by Leanne :-) :-) ...

 

Don't forget that you have a sketch for inpsiration if you would like to use it - although it is not a requirement.  Head over to the blog and see what the other DT members came up with :-) :-)

Splish Splash

It's beginning to look a little like ....

CHRISTMAS!!!

We had a photo shoot with LaBelle Photographics recently.  It was one of the best shoots we've had!  The kids were {quite} well behaved and willing ... and we did lots of fun stuff :-).  Linley does such a fantastic job, I am ALWAYS super happy with her photos :-).  I want to share a few here with you ... it's been a difficult job choosing, but here's a little sneak of our shoot:

Summer rain

Would you believe, I haven't scrapped all month!!  I can hardly believe it myself, but between one thing and another, it just hasn't happened.

So ... since my blog is looking a bit lonely, here is a page I did last month, for the Manor House sketch challenge ...

I'm slowly getting my 52 week album together and this is my page for Week 19 - Mother's Day :-).  I am definately doing this project again next year - I love looking back to see what happened each week and even how much the children grow and progress.

Scrapz.Biz challenges

Yesterday I posted up my first Scrap It Blind at Scrapz.Biz!  It was actually so much fun :-) I kept it nice and simple so I hope heaps play along :-).  You'll find all the details HERE ...

Here's a couple of sneaks:

Last week my challenge was a Scrap A Rainbow one ... the theme was "Up in the Sky" so I literally looked to the sky for my colour inspiration :-)

I'm on a real Crate Paper roll at the moment.  Last month I worked with the Random range ... and must admit, it's certainly one of my favourite ranges!!
