Welcome to the TIME blog hop. I've joined up with a group of crafters to bring you a blog hop every month - with different themes and different inspiration each time :-).

I'm the first one on the blog list today, and there are some other fabulous crafters who are sharing their thoughts and creations as well ... here's the list:

Chloe (you are here)
Karen
Kerri
Marcia
Sharryn
Sonia
Susan
Wendy

Hope you have a great time hopping around to each blog!!

Speaking of TIME, that's our theme this month.

We have lots of phrases about time:

It's about time
Spring time
Summer time
Holiday time
School time
Time out
Tea time
Once upon a time
A waste of time
Take your time
Time stood still
From time to time
The best time

Just to name a few.

I loved this quote ... even though it doesn't mention the actual word, it's about time:

It's so important to make every moment count!

Last year, I decided to take up the 52 week scrappers challenge.  It's all about scrapping one page for every week of the year.  I loved it so much last year, that I'm doing it again this year.  I like to focus on the 'little' things, the things that fill our time, the little events that happen every day.

I've shared pages before, but here are another couple I've done recently.

(this one was for the Scrapbooking Top 50 Amazing Race challenge - it's been heaps of fun already!!)

And just to finish, it' an exciting TIME of year for us ... heaps of birthdays in the house!!
Here's a page about one of the recent parties :-) ... oh how I love making the days special for my kids :-).

(this page was also for the Scrapbooking Top 50 Amazing Race)

That's all from me, thanks so much for visiting!  Now, your next stop along the way is KAREN ...
Happy Hopping!!

Basic Grey

Hello!  Just attempting to catch up on some layouts piling up here!  LOL

This one was for the Basic Grey showcase over at Scrapz.Biz.  I don't use Basic Grey much.  I'm not even really sure why because I got the Paper Cottage range and I really liked it!  If I can get myself past Echo Park and Crate Paper, I think I might just try Basic Grey again ;-) ...

The reds and blues in this range were perfect for these cowboy pics :-) (photos by LaBelle Photographics)

I kept this page fairly simple due to the lovely detailed background page.

Thanks for visiting, have a great week!  School holidays here so we are looking forward to some relaxing days :-)

SUYS

The challenge over at SUYS this month is a quote challenge. "The world is filled with undiscovered wonders. Come, little one, let's find them out together."
Author: EMILIE AHERN

I've played with my Basic Grey Paper Cottage to create this:

Here's the quote:

And my handmade items are the flag from scrAp this! (tucked in behind the star vine) ... and the die cut butterfly is a Lil Red Rocket one :-)

Loving having some mojo around!
Thanks for visiting, have a great week!

A little bit Eclectic

Just catching up on some layouts I created last month for Scrapz.Biz - showcasing the amazing Echo Park.  I love Echo Park.  Before Echo Park, I tried a bit of this and a bit of that, not really finding something that had "ME" written all over it. Then Echo Park was born I instantly fell in love. I have loved {nearly} every paper range since and have a fair stash of each

So...I was super excited to get my hands on the new Everyday Eclectic Collection Kit ... and what an eclectic collection of papers it is!! From doilies, to woodgrain, to chevron, to clouds, this range just about has it all!!

To show how versatile this range is, I've created both a boy and a girl page

Just LOVE the sticker sheet that comes in these kits - and the alphas ... always love the alphas

Getting a little bit sentimental about how much my little boy is growing ....

And my girl page...
Sweet girl:

This is one of my bestie's little girls - such a little sweetie! Just love that there are boyish papers and pretty girly ones in this range too

Thanks for visiting!  Have a great weekend :-)

Over the rainbow ...

As you might already know, or have guessed, I love colour. Bright colours, happy colours, many colours, mixed colours.  I rarely work with a black and white photo for example, I just love colour too much!

So, when I saw the inspiration layout at the Australian Scrapjacked Studio, I really really wanted to give it a go. I wanted to try that drippy look - so out of my comfort zone, but strangely intriguing just the same.  My page is a little on the conservative side,  I was a little wary of wrecking the drips I had, so I didn't do any more.  In hindsight (being 20/20 as it is), I could have done more, but as my first attempt, I'm pretty happy with the way it is :-).

I added a few more bits and pieces to my cluster at the top ...

Even painting a chippy flourish, coordinating it to my rainbow of colours :-)

What a fun challenge!  I really did enjoy it  :-)

I have lots more to share with you soon!  I had a wonderful scrappy weekend!!

Thanks for visiting and have a great week :-)
