Elements

The elements challenge at Design Dollies was quite a challenge for me this time around. I tried many different versions and eventually came up with this:
The elements were:

an uncoloured stamped image

something lime green

Bright colours

The colour challenge over at Design Dollies this week was KRAFT + bright colours ... what could be more fun?!?!?! For my kraft, I used some cardboard because I wanted some of that yummy texture...
And made my own flowers by punching strips of paper with a border punch, folding them into a flower shape and sticking a sticker in the middle.

I added a few bits of ribbon and there you go :-)

I wanted to scrap today

So, I found this sketch:
(it's from Scrapbooking from Scratch) ... turned it on it's side, and made this LO:

Story behind the photo: Bethany sat on that little stool, crossed her legs "like a lady" and said "take a photo Mummy!" How could I refuse!!! LOL

Purple??

I find purple difficult to scrap with, not sure why, it just is. So, you might ask, why did I choose to use a purple colour scheme for this LO??? Firstly, I had this scalloped cardstock in my stash and the purple spotty lilredrocket button ... and they both went perfectly with these scraps of pp.

I must say, I had fun with that REALLY BIG TITLE. I even drew some of the letters and cut them out of patterned paper !! I don't usually do things like that - not enough patience ... LOL.

Now, just to clarify, I've named the LO 'Lil Brother' because, if you look closely, that's what is written on his little t'shirt. So cute!!

A Savvy colour challenge

Aren't these colours an interesting combination! They are the colours for the colour combo challenge over at Savvy this month.
This is what I created today:

I used another cute Lil' Red Rocket button ... here's a close-up :-) how cute is that little car!!!

Don't forget the CC is on @ S2P this weekend - it's an Easter theme - so it's a perfect time to scrap all those pics taken last weekend :-). Great games and prizes up for grabs!!!

Autumn cards

Lots of Autumn themed challenges around at the moment! This challenge is for a set of 3 autumn themed cards over at S2P:
Notice I used my ATC .... because I need my ATC's to be useful!! LOL. Loving the glimmermist on this one and the last one.

Should have used Glimmermist on this one too, but I forgot!

S2P April challenges

OK, are you ready for them?? Here are my challenges at Scrapping 2 Perfection for April... {the theme this month is AUTUMN}

First up ... a hand made embellishment!! Now, I don't do this very often, but this is what I whipped up :-). I made this little tree out of felt and stuck a few buttons on - super easy really.
Then, I didn't have to, but I used it on this LO for my next challenge which was a recipe challenge. Keeping the AUTUMN theme, my recipe is:

• F - fabric/felt
• A - acetate (transparency)
• L - letters
• L - leaves
  

Then, lastly, I created an ATC challenge, the only criteria being to keep to the AUTUMN theme...
