Hello everyone! I shared this page on the FWAB blog earlier in the month and somehow, missed sharing it here!
I love this family quote:
"Family is a little world created by Love"
Yes, that's my little family ... taken 6 months ago now ... doesn't time fly!!
I've had fun layering up my FWAB on this page!
I've taken the FWAB Jasmine Laser Flourish in Pale Pink and layered the FWAB Kate's Corner Flourish in Black over the top.
I've also used the gorgeous flowers from the FWAB Elise Flourish Silver - Dusky Pink & Rose Pink flowers pack - leaving the flourish to use on another project :-)
I think I might "need" some more of these ;-)
You might spy the Greatest View badge in there too!! LOVE these!!
Layering up FWAB was heaps of fun!!
Don't forget this month's challenge which is another fantastic quote!!! You still have a few days to get your entry in :-)
Happy Scrapping.

Mood Board Monday | Geometric
Last week, I played along with Lisa's Mood Board challenge ... it was all about florals. This week, the theme is GEOMETRIC and I just loved browsing (pinterest mostly) for some interesting geometric inspiration. Here's the mood board I created:
1. White Geometric Cotton Pillow Cover with Red, Pink, Green, Blue Chevrons - Cotton Cushion Cover - 45cm Pillow Cover - 18"x18" Pillow Cover from Etsy store Nirwa (lots of gorgeous geometric pillow covers in this shop! I love this fun design)
2. Fun Lime Geometric cake with Purple Flower by Sweet and Saucy Shop (stunning colour combo!)
3. Hot Air Balloon Kit - Geometric by Etsy store Craft Schmaft (how fun would this be to make!)
4. Geometric Wood Shelf - Middle Shelf Hexagon - Set of Three Honeycomb Shelves by Etsy store HaaseHandcraft (these would look great in the kids rooms)
5. Beautiful paper geometric shapes - hanging pendants table setting designed by 100 Layer Cake
Whilst I just picked images that appealed to me - even though they were random ... I actually realised there's a few similarities to my last mood board! Seems I'm particularly inspired by cakes, cushions and table settings :D :D ... who would have guessed?!? LOL
Thanks for visiting here, have a great week :-)

MAMBI on a layout ...
You might remember I posted about some CARDS I made recently using this pack from Scrapbook Savvy ...
Do you make cards?
Not a card maker?
Not sure if you would use ALL the cards in the pack??
Well .... I'm here to tell you that these fabulous MAMBI cards are NOT JUST for card makers :-) :-).
I've been able to use a card (the teal chevron) AND some pocket pages from this pack on a page ...
Here's the page I created:
The small kraft chevron page and this quote page are pocket pages ...
And the MOST fun part of using a card on a page?? It's a SUPER EASY way to add hidden journaling!! It just bends on the pre-scored mid line.
Walaa!! :D :D
Products from the Savvy Store:
MAMBI cards
MAMBI pocket pages
Elle's Studio tags
Washi tape
Prima butterflies
Words Or Whatever - Wood Veneer, Mini Filmstrips
Twine
Mister Hueys color Mist
See my other projects using these MAMBI cards and pocket pages HERE :-)
Thanks for visiting!

Pink and Yellow FWABulousness
… Pink and yellow would have to be one of my most favourite colour combinations. It’s so girly and pretty and fresh all at the same time.
This time I’ve added a dash of black to my pink and yellow … and created this page for Flourish With A Bling. See my post HERE.
I've used the gorgeous Chloe flourishes in Black - I think they are so effective here … adding some drama to the page. The pic is my DD with her little bestie – they are so cute together
Thanks for visiting here today, don’t forget the August monthly challenge which is this quote:
Find all the details HERE! Hope you can play along

Mood Board Monday | Floral
MOOD BOARDS. Have you heard of them? They are really "in" at the moment - even in the scrapping world. Lisa at "Life as we know it" has started a weekly inspirational post to create mood boards to share ... read about it here. Here is Lisa's definition of a mood board:
So, what is a mood board? A mood board is a visual representation of all the things that you love, dream about owning, or perhaps just inspire you. It can represent a mood, an atmosphere or a feeling...and in the case of Mood Board Monday...a theme.
I have never created a mood board before, but, for some reason ... curiosity?? ... I just wanted to play along this week :-)
So ...
This week, the theme is FLORAL
Whilst I am not an overly "floral" person, I am often inspired by floral designs and colours. (I totally love that cushion cover and would love it for my house :D ... but perhaps it's because it's teamed with chevron??)
Here's the mood board I had lots of fun creating:
1. Gorgeous table setting by Ruffled
2. A beautiful 3 tier cake by Izzy's Cakes
3. Sweet Shabby chic Retro floral bunting by Etsy store The Purple Stitches
4. Stunning chevron and floral throw cushion by Joss & Main
5. Pretty pink shoes (Ferragamo pumps)
Well, that was fun :D ... now I'd better go and do some work :-)

MAMBI
Hello everyone! I've been playing with some of the new MAMBI that Sar has in the Savvy store and let me tell you ... I'm totally head over heals with it!! Especially these .....
(Find MORE designs HERE)
OK, so I must be living under a rock or something because when Sar first suggested I play with these I was unsure - what were they even? Well, these are pre-printed, pre-scored CARDS .. all ready to use! Now, I wouldn't call myself a great card maker, but I do make all the cards we give away ... I can't remember the last time I visited the newsagents for one. So ... these are a card maker's dream!!
I also got these Pocket pages to match:
(Find more designs HERE)
These fit perfectly on the cards, but would also be perfectly at home in your Project Life pockets (perhaps why they are named Pocket Pages??).
So, here's a few cards I managed to whip up so very quickly the day they landed on my doorstep ...
I've used a MAMBI card, 2 of the Pocket Pages (some are just patterns, no writing which is awesome too!), twine , the Mister Huey's Color Mists and the cloud wood veneers are all from the Savvy Store!
Secondly, I just loved this Pocket Page "Enjoy" ... and decided it would look perfect on a card ...
So, on this one, I've used a MAMBI card (the orange spot), a large pocket page, with the smaller "Enjoy" pocket page over the top. I had the perfect orange button in my stash to match! The Prima butterfly and the washi tape are available in store.
Lastly, my daughter turns 7 next month so I created a card for her :-)
As you can see, my cards are all VERY simple, and SO easy! Here, I've used a MAMBI card with one of the printed spot Pocket Pages along with some washi tape from the store. The other bits I found in my stash to create a card perfect for my birthday girl :-)
My next challenge is using some of these MAMBI goodies on a scrapbooking page! I can totally see it working and can't wait to try :-)

BIG Savvy Sketch
Aren't these months flying by!! We are on the downward stretch of the year now!!
Anyway, this month over at Savvy, I designed the sketch for the August challenge.
It's a pretty simple sketch and open to lots of interpretation.
And here's my page:
I've used one of the newer Echo Park ranges (yes, I still love EP!!)
and some Prima from the Savvy Store ...
some twine ... (SO many colours to chose from!! And so reasonably priced!!)
And you'll spy some washi tape too ... again, the Savvy store has soooo many designs! So difficult to decide :D :D
I just had to use one of my favourite arrows from {scrAp this} too :-)
I hope you can play along with our BIG Savvy Sketch this month!! It's the BIG one ... it has a massive $40 prize with FREE POSTAGE going to a random winner!! You have to be in it to win it :D
