Firstly, I'd like to welcome my new followers ... thank you for visiting :-). Suddenly, I now have 200 lovely people following me here! Wow!! Thank you! I'm a little bit stunned ... I never imagined I would get that many followers! I hope I don't disappoint you all now ... my work is not outstanding, I'm just a very average scrapper and I'm not under any illusions otherwise. But, I'm super happy to have you all here just the same :-).
Anyway...
Today I'm sharing with you a page created for this month's Scrap The Girls challenge, which is this sketch:
I loved the strips under the photo - very adaptable!
Here's my take on the sketch:
I often create with bright, vibrant colours, so it was a change to use somewhat muted colours, with the accents of charcoal.
This photo of my girl was snapped rather quickly, while we stopped at a park during our massive 10 hour trip to Emerald at Christmas time. I love it when quick photos make special memories :-).
I was saving this Greatest View badge for the 'right' page ;-) ... LOVE it :D :D. (BTW - You might want to check out the GV BLOG ... some gorgeous giveaways and fabulous inspiration happening this week ... just sayin' ... ;-) ... )
So, that's it for now, thank you all for visiting :-)

My baby
This photo of me and my little man is quite a few months old now. In fact, I think it was taken last Mother's Day. Anyway, I've had it a little while now, waiting for the right page to put it on.
The challenge over at Scrap The Boys this month is
This month your challenge is to take a photo of you and
your son and create a "BOY" Inspired Love layout...
and ... I thought of this photo ... that really needed to be scrapped before this year's Mother's Day came around!
I got an idea to make a big bold title ... and I quite like the effect. My titles these days have become smaller and smaller, so it was time to break out of the box ... and use up some bigger thickers I've had in my stash for a while. :D
See another awesome felt arrow by{scrAp this!} and a cool chevron badge by Greatest View.
It's another rainy day here today! Perfect for scrapping :-) ... I have some more challenges I would love to do before the end of the month ... and that's not far away now!!
As always, thanks so much for visiting. Your comments make my day :-)

Inspired Blueprints Sketch #84
It's time for another sketch over at Inspired Blueprints! I must admit, this one scared the daylights out of me initially o.O!! 4 photos?? Not much white space?? How was I going to do this?
After shuffling papers for a while and not being happy, I flipped the sketch on it's side so it looked like this:
Instantly, this felt more workable and the ideas started flowing and I came up with this:
This way I could use landscape style photos and record the yummy foods at Miss 6's fairy party. I was just waiting for the right sketch to come along for this! So, the moral of the story is (LOL) it's easy to flip a sketch to suit your style or needs at the time ;-). Check out the IB blog and see how the other DT girls used this sketch to suit their style!
Have a great weekend everyone! Happy scrapping :-)

Sand art
There's something about sand, don't you think? There's something about a blank canvas of sand that makes you want to create a trail of footprints, or a masterpiece of stick drawings.
I've created this page for the SUYS challenge. This month it's an inspiration challenge.
So, the Little Mister is a CHILD ... and he's being creative drawing in the sand at the beach :-)
I was inspired by the colours too :-)
And ... the required handmade items are a Lil Red Rocket boat button tucked in the cluster ...
and a {scrAp this!} felt arrow ...
That's all for now, thanks for visiting!! xx

My happy
Are you ready for Chapter 3 in my Scrappy Lesson at Christmas time with Melinda?
I was on such a roll with the texture paste, the distressing and flowers ...
I thought I might be brave enough to attempt this page on my own ...
LOVE the chippy leaves ... Melinda talked me into adhering the chippy to the paper first and THEN painting over the top ... eek!! LOL ... BUT ... I LOVE the effect! I really need to stop being so "neat" all the time I think :D :D
{another photo from our puppy photo shoot with LaBelle Photographics}
Isn't the puppy just ADORABLE!! :-)
That's all for now, thanks for visiting! Have a great week :-)

Inspired Blueprints Sketch #82
Hello everyone! Did you know Inspired Blueprints posts a new sketch every Friday? That's a new sketch for inspiration every week!! I really had fun with this one:
I used a smaller photo and moved the sketch up to the top of the page.
She feels like she has to wait forever for her birthday. Her brother's birthday is a month before hers ... and it's a long month!! LOL
There's a little chevron badge hiding in there from Greatest View :-) ... love these!!
Don't forget to pop over to the blog and see the other DT members fabulous takes on the sketch!! Love how there's so many different looks from the one sketch :-).
PS. did you see the news over on the Rainbow Splendour blog?? :-) :-)

The first Inspired Blueprints sketch!
Inspired Blueprints is back!! I think I've mentioned this before, but I am so excited to be on the team :-) ;-)
Anyway, here's the first sketch:
And my take on the sketch:
The candles are chipboard ... and I coloured them with some gel pens. I was surprised how well they turned out! I don't think I've ever tried plain ol' gen pens on chipboard before.
You'll see some mini doilies from Greatest View - just love these!! You might also notice some pink Rainbow Splendour lace flowers :-)
Such a purple page ... I don't often scrap with purple, but this means I have heaps of purple embellies in my stash, left over from packs of mixed embellies. I decided it was time I used some of them! Keep watching for another purple page coming up soon :-) :-)
Thanks for visiting! Make sure you head over to the Inspired Blueprints blog to see the other DT girls pages from the sketch ... awesome!
