A bit of vintage...

It's all about Days Gone By at S2P this month (due to Remembrance Day) ... so had to get my thinking cap on for some challenges!  This one was using 'vintage' items, like old bookpaper/music paper, old doilies, buttons etc.  I LOVE using all that sort of stuff :-) 

 I misted some squares of old book paper ... fun!

Sadly, I have decided to resign from my DT position at S2P after this month.   I have been there nearly a year now (doesn't time fly!!) and have learnt so much and had lots of fun :-).  Thanks to Manda and Natalie for putting up with me for so long!!  LOL

 I created this page for the Savvy ABC challenge for "I":  ink, insect and title beginning with I.  I put a big black button in the middle of the flower for a different look :-)

2 Crafty

I am loving the 2 Crafty challenges!  This month it was a multi pic challenge - and using 2 Crafty chippy as well of course.

 I have used some of the 2 Crafty banners for part of my title, inking them in two different colours and adding some thin string.

 Also.... a lilredrocket button :-) :-) :-)

Another card...

When I feel my creativity is lacking and it seems too difficult to tackle a page, I'll sit down and create a card.  Or two.  LOL

This one is for the Scrapbook City Card blog challenge #4 - handmade flowers...

there are sooooo many different types and styles of flowers one can make now days ... so which one to choose??  In the end, I went with this:

DeLovely Christmas card

So, I decided to make a Christmas card out of some Cosmo Cricket DeLovely scraps ... 

I think it's a perfect range for non-traditional Christmas cards :-) what do you think??  (pp and the flower brad are from Handmade by Suzanne)

Then, I was in the card making mood so made this one:

Kraft It Up!!

Just LOVED the sketch at Kraft It Up this month and couldn't wait to play along :-)

"Finally 4" (because she was waiting for her birthday for soooooooo long ....remember what it was like when birthdays seemed so far away and you wish they would HURRY UP???!!!  LOL)

 I have used more of my Cosmo Cricket DeLovely papers and embellies as well as the yellow flower brad and Sass Lass banner stickers (all available at Handmade by Suzanne)

This gorgeous Lilredrocket flower matched these papers perfectly :-).  Just love pink and green together ... can you tell???  ... LOL .... :-)
