Scraplifting ...
Do you scraplift?
definition: SCRAPLIFTING
You'll spy some Rainbow Splendour leaves!!
definition: SCRAPLIFTING
Scraplifting (skrap-lift-ing) – The act of copying ideas and designs from another person’s scrapbook page to use in your own pages. Designs or ideas can be copied in whole or in part and is largely subjective.
Scrapbooking Top 50 AUS is having a SCRAPLIFTING CYBER CROP right now!!
We are scraplifting some of the current SCRAPBOOKING MEMORIES MASTERS!!
Head over to the forum and find out all the details. **Remember, when scraplifting, give credit to the original creator.**
I lifted this beautiful page of Bernii Miller's ...
I have kept a similar page design as Bernii's - I saw 4 distinct areas on her page and while I went with only 2 areas on my page, I used masking to replacing the other 2. I used doilies in similar spots, and other similar embellishments like the title spots and paper clips, strips at the top and bottom of the page. I even kept to a similar colour scheme. Thanks so much, Bernii, for your fabulous layout to lift!"
You'll spy some Rainbow Splendour leaves!!
Come over to SBT50 and play along!! There are two other fabulous designers to be inspired by too!!

Savvy April sketch
Hello everyone! Well we are halfway through the month already and who has the April Savvy sketch on their list? Or maybe you've already done it? I just love this one - inspired by a lovely page of Sarah Martin's ...
Here's my sample ...
I have used the gorgeous Glitz Wild And Free range (some left in store!!!) ... this would have to be one of my favourite ranges - I bought 2 of every page and I so RARELY EVER do that!!!
Loving the border on the sketch and I used some of my TWINE from Savvy ...
Hope you can play along!!
Upload your layout to the gallery by midnight 30th April 2014 to be in the running for this randomly drawn prize. Remember your page should be a new creation for this challenge alone.

Little Fish
Time for another FWAB share!
Recently I found this photo of my daughter taken a couple of years ago now - but I loved the colours in the photo and had these papers out that matched perfectly!
I used part of a FWAB Silver Kate's Corner to add some sparkle to echo the light on the water:
And added some FWAB Olive Green and Rose Pink pearls to the chipboard and cardstock butterflies:
They were just the right touch!!
Thanks for visiting here today!
Happy scrapping :)

Scrap Around The World - April challenge
Have you seen the latest Scrap Around The World challenge? It's an amazing mood board that caught my eye the first time I saw it:
I love how simple it is. I love the black and white with the hint of colour. I love the textures! I was so inspired, I just had to play along!
I have a black and white background - I added some thread over my washi strips for some added texture. I used tones of blue, mint and seagreen, with pops of black and white, with some grey thrown in.
{That's a FWAB Jack vine!! Love my FWAB!!!}
{And a Greatest View badge}
Apart from being a Guest Designer for the February challenge at Scrap Around The World, this is my first time playing along at this challenge site :)
Thanks for visiting!! xx

I've created this page using the April sketch at Words Or Whatever (WOW) ...
Loved it!!! And yes, I did use some WOW ... the film strip wood veneer ...
and this gorgeous chippy flourish!
(there's some Rainbow Splendour butterflies in there too!)

SUYS April challenge
The first day of the month is always inspiring isn't it!! At Show Us Your Stuff this month, we have a cake picture for inspiration:
This month we would like you to take inspiration
from the following image of a cake.
You can take inspiration any way you want,
just make sure you tell us what inspired you in your blog post!
As always, you also need to include a handmade
(by you or somebody else) item on your page!
I was inspired by the colours, the circles, the big purple flower and the ribbon around the cake platter (that inspired my washi border). I have used some Rainbow Splendour butterflies and purple heart wheel, and a Greatest View badge.
I created some circles with texture paste and realised they didn't stand out as much as I would like .. so I went around some in pen. I'm getting adventurous in my old age aren't I!! LOL
You'll also spy some Flourish With A Bling: a Jasmine puffy flourish!! These are one of my fav flourishes!!!
If you want to get your hands on some handmade goodies, THIS is happening this week!!!!
Pop over to the Rainbow Splendour blog to see ....
