I played along with the sketch challenge at SUYS this month.  It seems like I'm leaving it to last minute, but I've actually had this page done for a while now.  Here's the sketch:

Birthday Boy

Hello again!  I'm back to share my entry to the Scrap The Boys October challenge which is to use a HANDMADE embellishment - pretty easy hey! :-) Of course, I did use a Rainbow Splendour pinwheel that I had on hand.

And made a little banner of sorts ...

Just LOVE the dumptruck chippy - it was perfect for this page as his cake is a dump truck cake - it just doesn't photograph very well!

And there's the map paper pinwheel :-)

Bird Is the Word - WISH

Just a quick post today to share the new word up at BITW - "wish".  You will have one month to complete this project. When the time is up for the challenge our design team will vote for a first place winner and four featured winners.

She had her eye on that Nursery Centre for a while and kept saying she wanted it for her birthday.  She was SO excited to actually receive it!!

Scrap the Girls

I found myself searching for a challenge to do the other day and came across the Scrap The Girls challenge for October - distressing and use the word "love".
So, I distressed all the strips of pp in the heart and came up with this:

It's a little bit different for me and I still think it needs ... 'something' .... but I'm so over fiddling with it LOL!

It feels like ages since I playing along with these type of challenges - I've even done Scrap The Boys for this month!  I'll share with you soon :-) :-)

Oh have I got exciting news!!!!

I am so honoured to announce I have a spot on the Design Team over at Scrapz.Biz!!!  Scrapz.Biz in an online store based in Toowoomba, Queensland.  They stock a HUGE range of all the latest scrapbooking, stamping, Spellbinders and embossing folders and cardmaking supplies at great prices.
