The grass is greener

I played along with the sketch challenge at SUYS this month.  It seems like I'm leaving it to last minute, but I've actually had this page done for a while now.  Here's the sketch:

And my page
The grass is greener with you two ... {just love this pic of my two} :-)

Oh how I love creating with bright colours :-) I've just loved every single bit of this Echo Park range!!!

Here's a close-up of the my handmade item - the green spotty flower which is from LovelyBugs Bits n Bobs

Have a great weekend to you all and as always, thanks for visiting my little blogspot :-) :-) I do love your comments :-) :-)

Birthday Boy

Hello again!  I'm back to share my entry to the Scrap The Boys October challenge which is to use a HANDMADE embellishment - pretty easy hey! :-) Of course, I did use a Rainbow Splendour pinwheel that I had on hand.

And made a little banner of sorts ...

Just LOVE the dumptruck chippy - it was perfect for this page as his cake is a dump truck cake - it just doesn't photograph very well!

And there's the map paper pinwheel :-)

As always, thanks for visiting!

Footprints on my heart

Bird Is the Word - WISH

Just a quick post today to share the new word up at BITW - "wish".  You will have one month to complete this project. When the time is up for the challenge our design team will vote for a first place winner and four featured winners.

 Here's my DT sample:

She had her eye on that Nursery Centre for a while and kept saying she wanted it for her birthday.  She was SO excited to actually receive it!!

A sweet spotty Lovelybug Bits n Bobs flower tucked in there ...

An Eye Candy Magic butterfly ...

Have a great day and thanks for visiting :-)

Scrap the Girls

I found myself searching for a challenge to do the other day and came across the Scrap The Girls challenge for October - distressing and use the word "love".
So, I distressed all the strips of pp in the heart and came up with this:

It's a little bit different for me and I still think it needs ... 'something' .... but I'm so over fiddling with it LOL!

It feels like ages since I playing along with these type of challenges - I've even done Scrap The Boys for this month!  I'll share with you soon :-) :-)

Have a great weekend and thanks for visiting :-)
