I've probably said this before, but I find WW1 challenges a real .. well ... CHALLENGE!! LOL. I usually love the end result though, and this time is no exception. So, the challenge this month was white with navy/royal blue and a banner.
Those eyes:
This photo (by LaBelle Photographics) actually show's my little boys blue eyes - the photo of the page doesn't show it sorry! I had that navy Basic Grey doily paper for ages, and I knew I was keeping it for something special :-)Lots of navy and white bits and pieces...
I made a little heart banner ... I had a white scalloped circle already punched out and thought I'd chop some hearts out of it. Fantastic idea. THEN ... after I completed the page, I remembered I actually have a heart PUNCH that looks exactly like that. Talk about make life difficult! Maybe it also means I have too much stuff ... can't keep track of what I have ... hmmm ...
So ... that's WW1 done for another month ... hope next month's comes together as easy :-) :-)

Hi Chloe! I also do find working with just one colour challenging. But thats the whole purpose right? Well you did really really well with this one. I really like that background effect and the little details ..beautiful as always!
This is just fabulous. I love your use of the doily pp and the embellies are gorgeous. This looks so classic and that pic is kinda cute too.
