Over at Design Dollies they have a colour combo challenge:

BLUE and YELLOW with a BLACK/WHITE option

I haven't played along for what feels like ages, but I immediately thought of these fun papers and made a shaker card for a little boy's birthday :-) I will add a number later :-)

Photos of the little Mister when he discovered his toes ... so cute!! Sorry the photos of the LOs are really dodgy .... I can't seem to get them any better in this overcast weather!

for some reason I am doing heaps of girl pages ATM.... you should see the yummy girly range I got to play with from Handmade by Suzanne!!! I have used up every single bit!!! (maybe there are some tiny scraps left, but you get the picture!!!) Will reveal next month ;-)

and my take:

I replaced the two journalling spots with a heart I received in a swap - I thought it would match my papers :-)

I see I now have 50 lovely followers so it's time for a giveaway :-) .... I am gathering goodies at the moment so will post a pic when I have something organised :-) :-) :-) I need some sunlight for a good photo too!!! LOL

Using up scraps

I had all these strips of left over Fancy Pants pp's from my Handmade by Suzanne DT kit .... so thought I would use some up on some cards! My scrap boxes are overflowing and plus, these papers are too gorgeous NOT to use LOL
That's a Fancy Pants brad too ... cute hey!!

Then, using some more paper scraps, more brads, some little rubons and a strip of the deliciously yummy flocked transparency ... I made this:


Trust me, it looks better IRL :-)

I have been wanting to do a LO like this for ages - listing all the nicknames we have for Miss B. (They are on the tag under the pic)

I have used some items from my gorgeous RAK from Natalie (thank you Natalie!!!). And lots of other bits and pieces from various swaps.

Not sure I'm totally sold on the page, but you get that :-)

Just loved the criteria over at Out of the Hat this month:

This close up shows you all three criteria!! I didn't intentionally cluster them together ... LOL

I don't know if you can read the journalling ... the story to this page is about Miss B's BabyBorn doll. She called her 'Baby Girl' for ages and didn't like anyone else's name suggestions. One day, she came up with Cristina .... so 'Baby Girl' now has a name :-).

Notice the rainbow ... it is actually a magnet that came in a Dora themed pack. Does anyone else 'borrow' their children's things to put on a page??? LOL

Fancy Pants - DT inspiration

I got to play with the gorgeous Fancy Pants 'About A Girl' collection from Handmade by Suzanne this month. The bright colours looked fantastic on a black background. On this page I have used the papers, the gorgeous flocked transparency, alphas, brads and rubons all from the Fancy Pants 'About A Girl' collection. Also available from the store: Martha Stewart border punch, pearls, Green Tara flowers, AC thickers.
Clown face: Had fun with folding the paper so the 'B'side' was visible! Also used the brads, rubons and alphas from the FP 'About A Girl' range. Plus a few extra things from my stash :-)
