Icecream anyone?

They are the colours for the colour challenge over at Design Dollies and I just HAD to play along!!! LOL. I ALSO managed to combine it with the elements challenge which was a recipe:

a crown

the colour pink

lace

stripes

2 3D elements (or more)

So, I have a crown, pink (of course), lace, stripes (on the brads - how clever ... hehehe!!) and my 2 3D elements were the crown and the little princess sentiment. I haven't managed to combine the sketch as well yet, but maybe one day!! ;-)

It's a boy thing...

I think I am over my random thing so here's a LO that's more "me" ... LOL
It's my last LO for the Savvy CC and it's for Sara's patterned paper challenge:

Being a bit random

I have no idea why I am doing rather random LO's lately..
is it the weather?
or because I am so tired?
Or maybe, it's just fun to do something different!!

So, this one is another for the Savvy CC - Anthea's challenge this time.

Criteria - use at least three stamped images. One: the stamped circles on the background C/S, two: a (bit of a dodgy looking) flower on the big brad (it's with paint and a bit smudgy), three: the blue butterflies, and I have also stamped a journaling stamp for my journaling.

Anyway, it's been fun :-)

I stepped out of my little comfort style zone and created this:
I just felt that with a pic like that, it needed a fun LO. LOL. It is for Em's challenge over at the Savvy CC...... criteria: white space and hand cut edge. Here's a close up of my hand cut edge:

I even managed to mix it with their elements challenge being animals (see the cute lil elephant??) ... so two challenges in one!!

I must admit, I quite like those colours together :-)

Water fun

A bit chilly here to be thinking of swimming in the pool!! Brrr...

But, I am still scrapping pics from our beach holiday from Feb...
I was lucky enough to get a We're Savvy kit (from Savvy of course...LOL!!) for Mother's Day and this is one of the pages I have created. Just love that Twiddleybitz shape I have misted over... I think it's meant to be a tree (??) but if you use your imagination, it could be water/waves. Don't you think??? I am totally hooked on masking at the moment - love the look!!!

Pink, orange and cream

These are the colours for the colour challenge at Design Dollies at the moment! Interesting hey!! I shuffled papers around for a bit and then came up with this card (above). I have used more origami paper and some fabric - I am really loving fabric at the moment!

Bedtime stories

Bethany loves bedtime stories (or anytime stories). One night I snapped this pic and used these cute Dora pp's to create this page:
Inspiration for this came from EtsyInspired Challenges blog where the Etsy store in the spotlight is Isabell's Umbrella. Lots to look at in this shop .... I liked this little pic ------>

It reminded me of a children's story book picture. So, you'll notice that I punched circles out of an old story book and added them to my layout, and I also popped a book page behind the photo.

May challenges at S2P

It's all about FAMILY at S2P this month, with the monthly challenges based around this theme. My first challenge is the monthly "Use your Stash" one - this month use up your stash of alphas!!!

All pp's etc are scraps also - it's great to use up some of those bits and pieces lying around!!!
