Colour challenge

I needed a challenge and Design Dollies had a great one! Their colour challenge for this week is

RED

TURQUOISE

WHITE OR BLACK

I whipped up this card...

And I must say, I really like the colours together.

What? No people???

I know. I rarely IF EVER scrap photos with no people and here is a LO with FOUR non people photos!!

Bethany does so much artwork - both at home and at kindy - I just can't keep it all!! So, I decided to take photos of some of it and scrap them instead :-). That way, we still have the memory :-).

Anyway, this LO is for the 54321 challenge over at Savvy.

Pigeon pair

I must admit, I wasn't familiar with the term "pigeon pair" until we had Dallas and everyone seemed to comment on it. So.... with that in mind, I created this page using the March sketch over at Scrapbooking From Scratch:
I've journalled about how lucky we are to have two perfect, healthy children and I love them both so very much.

Some close-ups .... the awesome Lil Red Rocket embellies: the button, the tag, the butterflies, the story book round. Just love them!!! Thanks Shell :-)

I think the colours came out better in the close-ups than the main pic - sorry. Am not having a good run with photographing LO's at the moment!

A new site!!

Maybe you have been wondering why I haven't been posting anything about Scraps of Us recently?? Well, I can now share a secret :-) ...

Vicki from Scraps of Us has decided to close the forum down and open a new one called

Black and White and Yellow all over

What a busy month it has been!! I haven't scrapped very much for "me" .... been super busy with other projects and my DT stuff. So, a little visit to Design Dollies to find a fun challenge and sure enough, I found one!

The colour challenge: Black, white and YELLOW.... this is what I came up with:
I am loving the next challenge ... bling, bling and more bling :-) :-) :-) :-). I'm pretty sure I can squeeze that one in!!! LOL

Lucky card

Over at Design Dollies, they have a "lucky" challenge (because it's St Patrick's Day soon). Anyway, I have made this "Good Luck" card:
You can't really tell, but I have painted the dragonfly with Sparkle Mod Podge to give it some bling :-)

Rubons + acetate = great effect!!

I was given these gorgeous rubons recently {thanks S :-) } and really wanted to try them on acetate. Soooo.... I used the colour challenge over at Design Dollies which was purple, brown and white and made this card with a see thru window:
That IS actually brown - I think it looks black in the pic sorry!
